چکیده
Working memory (WM) capacity is the ability to maintain attention and store information briefly in mind. However, each individual has a limited WM that varies from one person another. An can be categorized as having either normal or low capacity. This study aimed evaluate compare brain activations of healthy individuals with auditory-verbal A total 39 male young adults were recruited local universities for this study. They into group based on their score Malay Version Auditory Verbal Learning Test (MVAVLT). All participants underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) scans. The data analyzed using Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM) Wake Forest University (WFU) Pickatlas softwares. Brain amplitude fluctuation (rsAF) contrasted between groups determine whether there any significant differences caused by different findings indicated showed significantly higher cortical left lingual gyrus, bilateral middle temporal calcarine, superior frontal precuneus compared group. It suggested activation these areas verbal-auditory was attributed lower neural adaptability at rest.

Relation between Working Memory Capacity and Auditory Stream Segregation in Children with Auditory Processing Disorder
Background: This study assessed the relationship between working memory capacity and auditory stream segregation by using the concurrent minimum audible angle in children with a diagnosed auditory processing disorder (APD).Methods: The participants in this cross-sectional, comparative study were 20 typically developing children and 15 children with a diagnosed APD (age, 9–11 years) according to...
متن کاملBrain and effort: brain activation and effort-related working memory in healthy participants and patients with working memory deficits
UNLABELLED Despite the interest in the neuroimaging of working memory, little is still known about the neurobiology of complex working memory in tasks that require simultaneous manipulation and storage of information. In addition to the central executive network, we assumed that the recently described salience network [involving the anterior insular cortex (AIC) and the anterior cingulate corte...

متن کاملInhibition in verbal working memory revealed by brain activation.
There are many occasions in which humans and other animals must inhibit the production of some behavior or inhibit the processing of some internal representation. Success in inhibitory processing under normal circumstances can be revealed by the fact that certain brain pathologies render inhibitory processing ineffective. These pathologies often have been associated with damage to frontal corte...
